What is Gestalt Psychotherapy?

Gestalt Psychotherapy is a relational and experiential approach that helps you develop greater awareness of yourself, your emotions, and your patterns of relating to others.

What happens during the first session?

The first session is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your needs and goals, and consider how we might work together. It is also perfectly okay if you are unsure of your goals or what may be troubling you—therapy can help you gain greater clarity and understanding of your experiences.

How long is a session?

Sessions last 50 minutes.

How often do sessions take place?

Sessions are usually held weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs and therapeutic goals.

What is the fee?

The fee is €45 for face-to-face sessions and €40 for online sessions.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Information shared during therapy is confidential, subject to legal and ethical exceptions relating to risk of harm or legal requirements.

Are online sessions available?

Yes. Online psychotherapy sessions are available in addition to face-to-face sessions in Hamrun, Malta.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can contact me directly to arrange an initial consultation; a referral is not required.
